MOTIVATIONAL POSTER
BACKROUND INFO
This was created for USU's GearUP organization, as a motivational digital display to motivate students to value learning.
DESIGN -CONTRAST
"HARD WORK" are white words featured in a dark box, which is also contrasting from the other words which stand alone.
DESIGN -FONT CHOICE
Filson Soft is the font featured on this display. Easy to read, but has an artistic flare to it which ties in with the subject working on a project.
DESIGN - ALIGNMENT
The left side oft his image is busy so I placed the quote in the opposing right corner to bring balance. WIthin, the quote I included both left and right alignment which brings a nice contrast.
PHOTOSHOP - CROP
Used the crop tool to set the image where I wanted it within the frame.
PHOTOSHOP - SHAPE
Simply inserted a rectangle shape behind the words "hard work" to help emphasize those words.
PHOTOSHOP - IMAGE
Made minor color corrections to the image, as well as enhancing the contrast and sharpness of the image.

EXHIBIT REVISION
When revising this project, there were a few suggestions that I implemented to make a more successful exhibit. Firstly, you recommended I tie in colors from the image itself. So I changed the font color to be a color I pulled from her jacket. I wanted to keep the orange because..well...if not obvious, I love it. So I changed the square to be a subtle gradient to add a fun complimentary color as well as make the text pop.
