Honestly, I took the assignment and ran with it. I didn't have this idea initially but as I put down the shapes and wanted to fill them..this is what we ended up with!
I wanted to place these hexagons intentionally but in a way they almost looked random. I think it cleans up the design having the sides be parallel and then having the info also line up with the sides.
If it wasn't obvious, I used the shape tool to add the hexagons to the design. I then used the crop tool to take different parts of the same image and place them within the shapes!

CONTRAST
The only potential aspect of contrast in this graphic would be the detailed images against a stark white background. It makes the images stand out as well as the text. Another element of contrast would be the differing sizes of shape.
REPETITION
There is a lot of repetition throughout this design. For one, the shapes of the image are the same throughout. I also used a color from one of the pillows for the text. And I used the same font throughout.
FONT
The font I used for this-which happens to be my favorite font, is DIN condensed.
REVISION
I received some feedback saying that it was hard to interpret what the "purpose" behind Olive June Design was. So as a revision, I changed the name and included interior design consultant to give a clearer idea to the viewer!
