BACKGROUND
For this image I used the engagements I took for my friend. So I just used the photo I took to create a wedding announcement.
DESIGN
In this announcement I wanted to implement a very simple design. She's a very simple and minimalistic person so I thought the most basic and necessary text would suit her best.
ALIGNMENT
I used both left and centered alignment. I played with the alignment a lot for this because it's only an image and words. I felt like the left flush alignment and centered worked the best.
REPETITION
In regards to repetition there's a thing or two that I repeated to tie the whole piece together. First off, the color of the text is taken from the image itself. And next I used the same font on both the top and bottom of the image.
FONT
On this project I used the font called "DIN condensed"
PHOTOSHOP
In photoshop I added layers of text, aligned the image to have a white border, and added minor edits to the image itself.
REVISION
I took your advice on the revisions to make for this invitation. I altered the alignment of "Kenzie and Spencer" so it fit flush with the image. I also enhanced the saturation of the image so it's brighter and more exciting to look at!
