Out of all the exercises from the last week, my favorite one was where the art history brush tool was implemented. For this exhibit I wanted to make a photo I've taken have a painting "vibe" to it.

BACKGROUND

PHOTOSHOP

Art History Brush tool- For this project I used different sizes and styles of the art brush tool over the entire image. I used a larger brush on the sky and foreground of trees, but a smaller one to catch more details on the mountains and valley.

EXHIBIT 2

PHOTOSHOP

Content Aware Feature- I initially took this picture on my phone which resulted in a very tall and skinny picture that I didn't love. I extended the image out to the left a little bit to get the size of image I preferred.

DESIGN

Use of different sized brushed to highlight different features better in certain areas of the image.

I didn't make a ton of changes to this one but I feel like the minor changes I made do help the overall success of the image. I got the recommendation of cropping out some of the sky which ABSOLUTELY needed to happen. There's too much blue and cropping it out made the mountains and scenery stand out better!
