BACKGROUND
With the upcoming holiday, I just wanted to create a very simple festive thank you card.
DESIGN
For this design I wanted it to be as simple as possible but still "fun" to look at. I put two overlapping rectangles on the page keeping one of them white so someone could write a note on it.
PHOTOSHOP
In photoshop I created created multiple rectangles. Adding a shadow, changing the opacity, and adding text to it.
CONTRAST
There's not a ton of contrast in this card but I would say the biggest element of contrast would be the two different rectangles and the opposing colors.
GRATITUDE CARD
COLOR
When choosing colors I obviously was going for thanksgiving colors! Choosing fall/ orange tones for this card.
REPETITION
Obvious repetition with the multiple rectangles and the repeating orange colors.
FONTS
For this graphic I used the font called ScriptoramaMarkd.
REVISION
This card was just very boring before. I changes the fonts up a little bit, and in all honesty I still don't know if it's working at all. But I'm going to look back at it in a couple days and go from there. I also added another rectangle just to add another element and make it more exciting
